1. Special service programs for flooded areas
Daewoo Elec Service has always been where typhoons,
heavy rainfall, or other
natural disasters hit the country. We lent our hands to
disaster areas in 2003 when
Typhoon Maemi struck, and in 2004 when Megi and Nabi hit
again, we sent our
men and special vehicles for relief. Each year, we send
our high-pressure cleaning
equipments and vehicles along with our relief team to
provide free repair service on
damaged products. We treat and dry these products and
return them to usable condition. |

2. ¡®Becoming One with the Community¡¯ volunteer
service
Each center has an organized volunteer team to offer
practical service to our less
fortunate neighbors. Through regular visits to
orphanages, and facilities for the
elderly and handicapped, we enjoy providing whatever
help we can, whether
checkups on electronics or cleaning, laundry, and
washing. We never underestimate the value of sharing
human warmth and work to be a good friend to talk to or
play
with. By establishing formal sister relationships, our
volunteer work becomes not just a single time event but
a lasting contribution and a fulfilling mutual
experience. |

3. Special service programs for local facilities and
remote regions
We provide regular ¡®Visiting Service¡¯. Appliances at
remote municipal government
offices and organizations are checked regularly to
support public service and our
regular service routes include large apartment complexes
and armed forces
residences in remote areas. Seasonal products such as
air conditioners and boilers are checked twice a year
and 3 times a year for island areas through
collaboration
with the Navy. Wherever our ¡®Kind People, Beautiful
Service¡¯ is needed, we are more than ready. |
